When to See a Doctor with Throat Pain
If you have been suffering with sore throat for quite some time, finding a remedy may be in your top priority. It certainly is my top priority to give you simple and effective remedies as well as tell you when you should see a doctor for this condition.
Mullein flower – this is a type of herbal treatment that has been used for centuries in Europe as a symptomatic treatment for this condition. It also acts as a mild expectorant, and is very helpful to stop coughing.
Mullein flower is available in many different forms such as fluid extract, tincture and tea. If you have persistent coughs, drinking a tea made with the flowers will help you have a productive cough and also soothes the pain.
Another great remedy is marshmallow leaf. It will soothe the irritation on your mouth. Make a tea out of the marshmallow plant (Althea officinalis) root to help you get a soothing effect from the pain.
